
Helvetia 26
The USKA Diploma for confirmed contacts with all 26 Swiss cantons — on shortwave or VHF/UHF, in voice, CW or digital, valid from 1 January 1980.
The USKA awards the Helvetia 26 in two basic versions: one for the shortwave bands and one for VHF/UHF (including SHF). Both are issued to licensed radio amateurs and SWLs.
The two variants
Helvetia 26 HF — Bands: 6 m, 10 m, 12 m, 15 m, 17 m, 20 m, 30 m, 40 m, 60 m, 80 m, 160 m. Modes: Mixed (voice, CW, digital).
Helvetia 26 VHF — Bands: 70 cm, 2 m, 6 m, 10 m, 12 m, 15 m, 17 m, 20 m, 30 m, 40 m, 60 m, 80 m, 160 m. Modes: Mixed (voice, CW, digital).
Application and supporting documents
The application for the diploma must be submitted using the official ‘Application Form’ (see downloads below). Confirmed contacts from 1 January 1980 onwards are valid; all QSOs must have been made from the same DXCC country or the same canton.
One of the following must be enclosed as proof:
- A GCR list of all contacts, signed by a club official or by two radio amateurs
- eQSL copies from your own archive, also endorsed
- Photocopies of the QSL cards
The USKA Award Manager reserves the right to carry out spot checks and may request original QSL cards at any time.
Fees
- Helvetia 26 HF or Helvetia 26 VHF (Basic Diploma): CHF 10 / US$ 10 / EUR 10
- Per additional sticker: CHF 5 / US$ 5 / EUR 5
The full fee in CHF, US$ or EUR (in cash) must be enclosed with the application. Following consultation with the Award Manager, payment via PayPal is also possible.
