Why become a member?
Become a member of the Swiss Amateur Radio Federation — HBradio magazine, EMC support, assistance with antenna licences, a worldwide QSL service and political representation.
Get more out of amateur radio – with the USKA
As a USKA member, you’ll receive expert support, access to knowledge and the Swiss amateur radio community – whilst also strengthening the advocacy of amateur radio.
Your benefits as a member
Help when you need it
Whether it’s an antenna licence, EMC interference, or a regulatory or technical query: you can draw on the USKA’s expertise. A single difficult case can more than justify the annual membership fee.
Knowledge and professional development
HBradio six times a year, webinars, specialist groups, courses and other initiatives keep you up to date with the latest technical developments.
Community and networking
Through the regional USKA sections and collective members (clubs and associations), you can meet radio amateurs in your region and specialists in your areas of interest – from HF to satellites and digital modes right through to new technologies.
The sections foster a local sense of community – the USKA represents amateur radio to the outside world. As the point of contact for the authorities and the link to the IARU, it works to ensure favourable conditions and the long-term preservation of amateur radio.
Services for radio operations
QSL service, diplomas, contests, the members’ area and other services support you in your hobby.
And together we can achieve more
Many of the benefits of amateur radio cannot be taken for granted: frequencies, opportunities for antenna construction, building your own transmitters and reasonable regulatory frameworks must be continually championed and defended. The USKA takes on this task in dealings with the authorities and international organisations.
