IARU Region 1 Operating Award

This award is available in three classes and is achieved when contacts have been made with the required number of IARU Region 1 countries, depending on the class. Class 1: All 110 member countries on the current list Class 2: 60 member countries Class 3: 40 member countries Permitted bands: All authorized bands Modes: No restrictions

An additional award is offered for the same three classes, restricted to the 10m band

IARU Region 2 Award

This award is issued when contacts have been made with 20 IARU Region 2 member countries.

Permitted bands: All authorized bands Modes: Mixed, Phone, CW, Digital, Satellite

This award is available in three classes and is achieved when contacts have been made with the required number of IARU Region 3 countries, depending on the class. Gold: 20 member countries Silver: 10 member countries Basic: 5 member countries Permitted bands: 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6, 2m, 70cm und 23 cm Modes: Mixed, Phone, CW, Digital, Satellite
