Swiss Amateur Radio Diploma
“The radio amateur is not a dinosaur, therefore they must not disappear from the face of the earth”.
The USKA board shares this view. To attract new people and young talent, USKA proposes a special kind of “Field Day” and invites all radio amateurs to participate.
The purpose of this day is to make the role of the radio amateur visible to the public by conducting activities with portable stations in public places. This helps to promote our hobby.
All bands (except WARC) are available for this contest. Both SSB and CW may be used. Digital modes are excluded due to their lack of public appeal.
The award was initiated by the Tera Radio Club and has been under USKA patronage since 2022. Award evaluation is handled by HB9EDG.
