Switzerland Award

The USKA Diploma for contacts with Switzerland — on shortwave or VHF/UHF, in versions for foreign stations (DX) and for HB9 stations, valid from 1 January 1980.

The Switzerland Award complements the Helvetia 26 and is issued in four variants — two each for shortwave and for VHF/UHF, with separate categories for foreign stations (DX) and HB9 stations. The modes are mixed (voice, CW, digital); contacts made from 1 January 1980 onwards are valid.

The four variants

  • Switzerland HF — DX: for foreign stations operating with HB9 on HF
  • Switzerland HF — HB9: for HB9 stations with contacts abroad on shortwave
  • Switzerland VHF — DX: for foreign stations operating with HB9 on VHF/UHF
  • Switzerland VHF — HB9: for HB9 stations making international contacts on VHF/UHF

The Switzerland HF/VHF Honour Roll is awarded at the next levels above the Basic Diploma — see [DE] current standings.

Supporting evidence must include a GCR list, eQSL copies or photocopies of the QSL cards. Random checks by the USKA Award Manager may be carried out. The station lists below document the diplomas issued to date.
