WASD — District Diploma

The USKA Diploma for confirmed contacts with Swiss districts — on shortwave or VHF/UHF, in mixed mode, valid from 1 January 1980.

The WASD recognises confirmed contacts with the various political districts of Switzerland. The official district list (see Downloads) lists all currently valid districts and forms the basis for every application.

Conditions

  • Modes: Mixed (voice, CW, digital)
  • Bands: 160 m, 80 m, 60 m, 40 m, 30 m, 20 m, 17 m, 15 m, 12 m, 10 m, 6 m, 2 m, 70 cm
  • Valid: all confirmed contacts from 1 January 1980 onwards

Application

Applications should be sent directly to the USKA Award Manager. The same forms of evidence apply as for the other USKA diplomas (GCR list, eQSL copies or photocopies of QSL cards); random checks may be carried out. Detailed conditions are set out in the general regulations for diplomas.

Fees

  • Basic Diploma: CHF 10 / US$ 10 / EUR 10
  • Per additional sticker: CHF 5 / US$ 5 / EUR 5
